Warranty Policy

At Perfectly Painted Places, we take pride in our craftsmanship and stand behind the quality of our work. This Warranty Policy outlines the coverage, limitations, and conditions applicable to painting services performed by our company.

1. Warranty Coverage

Perfectly Painted Places warrants that all labor performed will be free from defects in workmanship, including peeling or blistering caused by improper application or paint issues, for a period of 6 months from the date of project completion.

This warranty applies only to labor provided directly by Perfectly Painted Places.

2. What Is Covered

Under this warranty, we will repair or touch up areas where paint failure occurs due to defective workmanship, at no cost to the client, provided that:

The surface was properly prepared by Perfectly Painted Places

The failure is not caused by external or excluded factors (see below)

The client has met all payment obligations under the original agreement

3. What Is Not Covered

This warranty does not cover:

Normal wear and tear

Fading, chalking, or sheen changes due to sun exposure or age

Damage caused by moisture intrusion, water leaks, mold, mildew, or high humidity

Structural defects, settling, or movement of walls, ceilings, doors, or trim

Cracks, nail pops, or joint separation

Damage caused by impact, abrasion, or misuse

Surfaces or materials supplied by the client

Paint failure resulting from previous coatings, hidden damage, or pre-existing conditions

Color dissatisfaction after paint has been applied

Areas not painted by Perfectly Painted Places

4. Materials Disclaimer

Paint and coating products are covered exclusively by the manufacturer’s warranty. Perfectly Painted Places makes no additional warranties regarding paint performance, longevity, or suitability beyond proper application.

5. Client Responsibilities

To maintain warranty coverage, the client agrees to:

Provide proper maintenance of painted surfaces

Promptly notify Perfectly Painted Places in writing of any warranty-related issue

Allow reasonable access for inspection and repair

Failure to meet these responsibilities may void this warranty.

6. Warranty Claims Process

To submit a warranty claim, the client must:

Contact Perfectly Painted Places in writing within the warranty period

Provide photos and a description of the issue

Allow inspection of the affected area

If the issue is determined to be covered under this warranty, repairs will be scheduled at a mutually agreed time.

7. Limitations of Warranty

This warranty is limited to repair or repainting of defective areas only. No refunds, cash compensation, or consequential damages are included.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perfectly Painted Places’ total liability under this warranty shall not exceed the amount paid for the original service.

8. Transferability

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original client at the original service location.

9. Governing Law

This Warranty Policy shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois.
