Welcome to Perfectly Painted Places ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website and the painting services we provide. By accessing our website, requesting an estimate, or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Services
Perfectly Painted Places provides residential and commercial painting services, including but not limited to interior painting, exterior painting, trim, doors, cabinets, and related preparation work. All services are subject to availability and acceptance by the Company.
The scope of work for each project will be outlined in a written estimate or proposal. Any work not expressly included in the agreed scope is excluded unless approved in writing as a change order.
2. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection.
Pricing may change if conditions differ from those initially observed, including but not limited to damaged surfaces, excessive repairs, color changes, or primer requirements.
Estimates are valid for a limited time as stated on the proposal (or 30 days if not specified).
3. Payment Terms
A deposit may be required prior to scheduling work.
Final payment is due upon completion of the project unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Late payments may be subject to additional fees or interest as permitted by law.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate services for non-payment.
4. Changes and Additional Work
Any changes to the original scope of work must be approved in writing before execution. Additional work will be billed separately and may affect project timelines and pricing.
5. Preparation and Access
Client agrees to:
Provide clear access to work areas.
Remove or protect personal belongings, wall décor, furniture, and valuables.
Ensure pets and children are kept safely away from work areas.
Perfectly Painted Places is not responsible for damage to items not removed from the work area.
6. Materials and Colors
Paint colors, finishes, and products must be approved by the client prior to application.
Once paint is applied, color dissatisfaction is not grounds for non-payment.
Primer may be required depending on surface condition or color change; this may result in additional labor and material costs.
7. Scheduling and Delays
Project timelines are estimates only. Delays may occur due to weather, material availability, unforeseen conditions, or circumstances beyond our control. We will communicate scheduling changes as reasonably possible.
8. Warranty
Perfectly Painted Places warrants labor against peeling or blistering caused by defective workmanship or product issues for a period of 6 months from completion. This warranty does not cover:
Normal wear and tear
Structural defects
Moisture intrusion or water damage
Customer-supplied materials
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Perfectly Painted Places shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the services rendered.
10. Website Use
All content on this website, including text, images, and logos, is the property of Perfectly Painted Places and may not be used or reproduced without written permission.
11. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Illinois, without regard to conflict of law principles.
12. Modifications
We reserve the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective upon posting to the website.
